Accutemps®

With Accutemps®, you can provide your patients with a beautiful smile as soon as you prepare the teeth.  Patients no longer need to postpone treatment for fear that their temporaries will look unnatural.

Send us your impression or pre-operative model, and within 5 days we will do the rest. After preparation, you simply reline and cement the Accutemps® they are recommended by periodontists for patients who will undergo tissue therapy. Accutemps® are also ideally indicated for your larger cases, when you obtain patient acceptance prior to prescribing the final restoration. In these cases, an impression of the Accutemps® can be taken so the dimensions and morphology on the final ceramic restoration duplicate that of the Accutemps®.

How Are Accutemps®Fabricated?

• Using a pre-operative model, a light 1mm reduction is made on the prescribed abutments. 2mm ovate reduction can also be made on tooth extraction sites.
• The Accutemps® are processed on this model with careful attention paid to refine the emergence profile and occlusal function then returned for reline and cementation.
• Once the teeth are prepared the Accutemps® are simply relined, the excess acrylic is trimmed off, and the Accutemps® are polished and cemented into place.
